About Wright’s Supply
David Wright left his sales position at Grangers to start Wright’s Supply in 1956. In 1997, Dave, who had worked for 25 years at Gory Electric motors in Los Angeles, and Steve who owned Foothill Electric Motors in the Santa Clarita Valley, decided to take the opportunity to buy Wright’s Supply, which had been in decline since Lockheed closed shop in Burbank.
After seeing the exodus of manufacturing from Burbank, Glendale and the San Fernando Valley to Mexico and China, Steve and Dave decided to change the emphasis from that of a traditional motor shop to selling motors used in infrastructure for moving air and water.
The new emphasis would be on supplying all products required by the mechanical contractor or facility engineer to return air handlers and pumps to their original condition.
The staff at Wright’s Supply can determine the cause of failure and help the customer make educated decisions to replace the products necessary and optimize the health of the equipment in need.
If a supply fan goes down, you can now buy the fuses, contactor, overload, belts, pulley, shaft, bearings and blower wheel all from Wright’s, saving time and money.
If a pump goes down, our goal is to have the motor, seal, sleeve, bearings, and gasket to get the pump running ASAP. We have knowledge, mechanics and equipment to get this job done.
Dave and Steve at Wright’s Supply would like to thank our many customers who have trusted our company over the years and we’d like to wish you all good luck in the future!
